I’m sure by now you have all heard about the Push up challenge starting today until the 23rd of June for the PUSH FOR BETTER foundation. This involves teams of 3 with everyone completing 45 push-ups a day. Yes, prepare for plenty of muscle soreness over the coming days!

However, the good news is at Tattersalls we also cater for your recovery! If you are taking part in this challenge, I would advise you to sign up for the ice baths. Taking an ice bath can help reduce inflammation, promote muscle recovery, and decrease soreness after exercise. It may also improve circulation and boost the immune system.

Also considering this time is being used to raise awareness about mental health, taking an ice bath can help improve your mindset by reducing inflammation and promoting relaxation, which can lead to improved mood and decreased stress levels. Additionally, the cold exposure can help increase mental toughness and resilience.
