Tattersalls Club was founded in 1858, the same year Edward Tyrrell established the famed Tyrrell’s winery in Hunter Valley. The Winemaker’s Selection is their flagship range. Made in small volumes and produced using only the best parcels of fruit from their top vineyards.
The team recently had a tasting with Bruce Tyrrell himself, fourth generation winemaker and managing director of Tyrrell’s Wines. We are please to inform the following are available for Members to enjoy ahead of Tyrrell’s initial launch and release on Saturday 01 July:
- 2021 Vat 47 Chardonnay
- 2021 Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet
- 2021 Vat 9 Shiraz
The wines are named after the casks in which they were matured and showcase the very best that Hunter Valley has to offer; for instance, the first Chardonnay they made went into cask number 47, so it became Vat 47 Chardonnay.
