Our partner Foundation & Friends of the Botanic Gardens invites Tattersalls members to an exclusive preview of Lightscape.
Lightscape is returning to the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. This globally renowned multisensory phenomenon of light, colour and sound changes every year. Experience the Gardens in a new light, with breath-taking lightworks created by acclaimed local and international artists. Discover moments of wonder to share with everyone.
Zoe Bottrell, Managing Director of Culture Creative, the production partner behind this internationally acclaimed event, will guide us through this unique experience.
The evening will commence at The Calyx for drinks, refreshments and an introductory talk. You will then walk approximately 1km down to the Queen Elizabeth II gate to begin the Lightscape trail.
The Lightscape trail takes about 90 minutes to walk through on a 2km route. The journey will take you through the gardens where you’ll wander beneath towering tree canopies illuminated in colour, stroll beneath larger-than-life flowers and through dynamic, glowing tunnels. There will also be food trucks and bars set up if you would like to stay longer to enjoy the atmosphere.
Comfortable footwear and warm clothes are highly recommended.
