There is only one week to go before our tasting journey through Veneto! Professor Milgate has ventured into the depths of his cellar to find a range of wines from the Northeast of Italy – the Veneto region. As a wine region, Veneto brings heft and history to the table. Its importance is partly due to the volume of Pinot Grigio it produces, and the massive growth in demand for Prosecco. However, continued recognition for other regional wines, such as Valpolicella and Amarone, help keep Veneto in the spotlight.

A special menu curated by our Chef, Fernando Casanova, to perfectly pair with Mr. Milgate’s wines will be served on the night. This menu will focus on Italian specialties from the Veneto region.

Chef Casanova has meticulously selected ingredients unique to Veneto, such as Vialone Nano, a rice variety exclusively grown in this region. You will also enjoy traditional recipes like Bacalà Mantecato, offering an authentic taste of Veneto.
