The end of the Season is near and that only means one thing. Finals footy is finally here.
It has been another great year of tipping and footy with the Swans racing out of the blocks and looked set to book some early flights for the last Saturday in September but as they got comfortable carnage through the ladder happened and the race was on to chase them down for top spot. But after a few weeks of injuries and bad form, the Swans clicked into gear to clinch the minor Premiership. As we may have mentioned last year this has been one of the closest finals races in the last decade with only 12 points separating the top 9 spots. Which made tipping week to week very difficult particularly the last 4 weeks of the season.
In the footy tipping standings for this year, Tony Happell secured third place with 137 points, Aussiebike/AFL ( Mike Hanrahan) claimed second place with 137 points, and our standout winner for the 2024 tipping competition was BenF84 (Ben Fletcher), clinching the top spot with 141 points. Congratulations to Ben and all the participants of this year’s Tattersalls Tipping!
A big thank you to all the members and guests who participated in the tipping competition. We will see you for 2025, season which promises to be bigger and better. As always: Go Blues!
