The club was abuzz with a fiesta spirit last Wednesday as Spanish National Day celebrations turned into a culinary highlight at Tattersalls Club.
With Spanish flags flying and colourful bunting above the long tables, families and groups of friends enjoyed delicious Spanish fare from our amazing chef and the kitchen team.
Some fiesta favourites were: anchovies in olive oil, jamon iberico and Spanish cheese followed by perfectly-textured asparagus, delicious fish and a sliced and Spanish-sauced flank steak.
As these and other dishes were shared over the tables, the buzz increased and as always, members and guests were served by our amazing team – nothing was too much trouble as the food kept coming and compliments flowed.
The secret highlights were hand-selected Spanish wines which accompanied the food selection superbly. There was a cracking Cava (sparkling), an intruiging regional spanish white and a stunningly good and crunchy little Rioja that met the food perfectly and got the taste buds partying.
All in all, this was a great example of what the club does – bring members and friends together for an outstanding night of fun and friendship with outstanding service and brilliant wines – all resulting in what must have been some of the finest dining going on in Sydney this month.
