The Tattersalls Golfing Members and their guests gathered in the dining room for the highly anticipated annual Golf Sub-Club Christmas lunch, where the true spirit of golf and friendship took centre stage. The festive event offered not only delicious food and great company but also the chance to celebrate the impressive achievements of the 2024 Victor Audette Shield winner, Martin Karafilis.
This year marked another successful season for the Tattersalls Golf Sub-Club, with all four scheduled golf days completed. The weather largely favoured the players, with sunny skies and only the occasional challenge presented by the famous NSW Golf Club winds. The Victor Audette Shield is awarded to the best three scores accumulated from the four rounds played, which included some of Sydney’s most spectacular courses: Concord GC, The Lakes GC, The Australian GC and NSW GC.

- 1st Place: Martin Karafilis – 107 points
- 2nd Place: Alan Israel – 103 points
- 3rd Place: Glenn Thompson – 92 points
Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated throughout the year. Your passion and commitment to the game helped make 2024 another remarkable year on the course.

As we close the chapter on 2024, we’re already gearing up for another exciting year of golf in 2025. The dates and courses for next year’s Golf days have been finalised:
- Elanora Golf Club – Monday, 31st March (8:30am)
- The Lakes Golf Club – Monday, 23rd June (9:00am)
- St Michaels Golf Club – Friday, 15th August (8:00am)
- The Australian Golf Club – Thursday, 16th October (8:00am)
