Tattersalls Club Business Owners Forum presents:
Australia and Canada’s Impact in a Global Economy
Business lunch, infused with Turkey Hill Maple Syrup
Tuesday 29th March from 12:30 to 14:30
Learn what every business owner or CEO should know about the new world we live in and work in today.
Mr André François Giroux, Consul General of Canada, Sydney
We are fortunate to hear from Mr André François Giroux, bringing with him a wealth of experience around the globe, including time as Canada’s Ambassador to Denmark, participating in NAFTA negotiations and at the UN. Giroux says the opportunities that have come his way through the foreign service have been beyond his imagination.
In Canada, he has had assignments in the International Trade Law Bureau, in the International Economic Relations and Summits Division and in the Office of Protocol. Having worked in trade for Canada at the highest level, Giroux expects that to be a vital component of his time in Australia in a world where the global markets are seeing increased volatility and restriction.
After Mr Giroux’s keynote, enjoy the observations of a moderated expert panel and Q&A covering everything from exports, insights into large Canadian funds who are investing globally, and Canada’s burgeoning tech ecosystem second only to Silicon Valley.
We have strictly limited numbers – please join us for lunch in the intimate Members’ Dining Room setting under the Chatham House rule.
All Members and guests welcome.
$110.00 per person includes a two-course business lunch and drinks.
