For the last couple of years, squash has become one of the go-to sports to practice at the Club. Every year, we have Members from all ages and skill levels eagerly booking the court to score some victories over their opponents. This 2025 is no exception; not only are our Members competing against each other, but they are also getting ready to challenge anyone who may face them.

For the last 6 weeks, our players have been receiving the masterful coaching of former world champion Michelle Martin, a great instructor and dear friend of our Club. Michelle has been upskilling them in every aspect of the game, ensuring that all of them will be ready to give it their all in future competitions. As we reach the end of Michelle’s coaching, we are moving into the Tatts Round Robin. This is a handicap event designed to cater to players of all abilities, providing an opportunity for less experienced players to compete against those with more experience in the game. We expect the first round to begin on Wednesday, 23 April. This year, the event will be held on Wednesday nights – from 17:45 to 20:00 across three courts (Tattersalls and the Castlereagh Club) for three consecutive weeks.

Just as in previous years, Tattersalls Club will also be one of the hosts for the City Houses tournament. Three teams from Tattersalls Squash Club will participate this year, with the tournament commencing on Friday, 13 June.

We are calling all our Members who are interested in playing to approach the Athletic Department so we can add them to our WhatsApp squash group and keep them updated on all relevant information regarding the tournament. June will mark the beginning of the competition, and it will run until the end of October.

Register and participate in Tattersalls Club’s squash revival! We are all excited for the fantastic squash season that lies ahead.

If you have any questions about the above-mentioned events or would like to register for them, please contact the Athletic Director at athletic@tattersallsclub.org
