Over many months and many hundreds of samples, Mario and Esmond toiled through Australia’s best regions and wines. Confident our list was diverse as it was strong, we tested it against the best in NSW.
The Dining team are proud to announce that we made it into the finalists for the NSW Sommelier’s Wine List Awards for 2021.
The aim of this is to acknowledge and reward the extensive investment by restaurant owners and sommeliers in the time, skill and resources that go into producing the best quality wine list, and to also showcase the very best ‘NSW Wine Stars’.
We competed against 38 other venues, all vying for the title of ‘NSW Sommelier’s Wine List of the Year’ in one of six different categories: Sydney small venue (<40 seats), Sydney mid/large venue (41+ seats), regional NSW small venue, regional NSW mid/large venue, Sydney hotel accommodation venue and regional NSW hotel accommodation venue.
We were extremely honoured to have made the finalists, as this has been a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the team to continue to bring incremental improvements to the Member experience.
The winners were announced at a prestigious event at Government House, hosted by the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley, and although we were not awarded Wine list of the Year, we are proud to be a ‘NSW Wine Star’.
