Join us for a night of inspiration and enlightenment as we hear from Del Kathryn Barton herself, a two-time Archibald Prize winner. Del Kathryn Barton’s work has been widely acclaimed for her unique exploration of the symbolic language of femininity, as well as her self-referencing of her euphoric and emotional inner world, which she brings to life with vibrant and detailed paintings.
In this event, Maria Stoljar, the host and producer of the popular Talking with Painters podcast, will facilitate a conversation, offering insights into the creative practices of Del Kathryn Barton. We will explore what inspires and informs her artistry and how she creates such incredible works of art.
