Last Tuesday Tattersalls members and guests had the pleasure of listening to Australian Olympic team Dietician Holly Edstein, in what was a fantastic and humorous Q&A session Holly gave insight into a variety of aspects of the Olympic life.

Members were taken on a journey of Holly’s life and experiences including the Covid Hit 2021 Olympics and the path now taken by our Olympic team for Paris 2024.

Who knew that the Australian Olympic team has a large amount of Cadburys chocolate being sent over, or to help athletes feel at home a shipping container of weetbix will be accompanying them?

The whole event was a huge success, and part of the building blocks Tattersalls is putting together towards the Paris Olympics.

See what members said about the event below.

“Thank you to Malcolm, who did an amazing job as MC, and to the whole team, for putting together a wonderful breakfast to listen to Holly Edstein. Tattersalls members had the rare opportunity to hear from a dietician who has worked with elite sportsmen and women. Members did not hold back in asking Holly questions about how we can use Holly’s ideas and expertise to improve our own diets and nutrition”.

“The event was enlightening beyond the table, Holly demonstrated superior knowledge in her field in a relatable way to those of us who don’t mind a burger ring. This talk has further whetted my appetite for the upcoming Olympic games”

“What a privilege it is, to have the best of the best in their respective fields come to the club and share her knowledge and insights with us, the best part is Holly hung around afterwards and answered all the questions that members put to her, not only insightful but also very much appreciated”

Thank you to all who participated with us.
